Career
Masaki Murooka received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in information science and technology from The University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2013, 2015, and 2018, respectively. He was a project assistant professor in the Department of Mechano-Informatics at The University of Tokyo from 2018 to 2020. He joined the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in 2020 as a researcher. His research interests include robot learning and humanoid robots. He received the Best Conference Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) in 2014 and the Best Interactive Paper Award at the IEEE-RAS International Conference on Humanoid Robots in 2018.
