A paper by Principal Research Scientist Floris Erich has been accepted for publication in IEEE Robotics and Automation Practice (RA-P).

The paper presents a 3D scanning approach for generating photorealistic mesh models of retail products found in for example convenience stores and the application of the models to robotics tasks such as object pose estimation and photorealistic robot simulation.
